  1. This film is interesting to me personally because I had a sighting in
    October of 1973. I was 20 years old visiting my parents for a few days. I
    remember laying back on my bed in my old bedroom listening to a Fresno AM
    radio station in California. The disc jockey was mentioning that orange
    colored glowing lights were circling the transmitting antenna of the radio
    station. I wish now that I would have written down some of the specifics of
    this event such as the call letters of the radio station in Fresno,
    California, the actual date and time of the event. I was fascinated by what
    the DJ’s were stating on the air. My parent’s house was many miles from
    Fresno in Gridley, California, a farming town about an hour south of Chico,
    California. After a while I decided to go outside to see if I might see
    anything in the sky. It was early evening before darkness, maybe around
    seven PM. I was observing the sky for maybe 20 minutes when I saw an object
    that resembled rolling, boiling colors of orange, and hot pink intermixing
    in the sky. It had no definite shape. The strangest thing about this object
    was the way it moved through the sky. It skipped. It appeared, then
    disappeared about once a second as it moved across the sky. It looked
    almost animated. I wanted to take a picture of this thing. It was headed
    toward a direction where it would be obscured by some tall trees. So I ran
    as fast as I could into the house to get my camera. But when I returned it
    was gone. I went out into the orchard past the high trees, but still no
    object. I didn’t think about it for several years until I was taking
    college classes at Chico State College as it was called back then in 1976.
    Astronomer, Dr. Allen Hynack visited the college and gave a talk in the
    theater building. There was a small showing of people to hear him speak. I
    was one of them. At the end of his speech, he asked that everyone who had
    an encounter with what they thought were highly unusual sightings to write
    down the date, and description of the UFO, and pass the paper to him. I did
    so and left the building. The strangest thing about this October 1973 UFO
    sighting: every year that goes by, the memory seems more and more like a
    dream rather than something that actually happened. Other memories of that
    time in my life are like any memory of the past—they seem very real, but
    not the 1973 UFO sighting—now in my later life the 1973 sighting seems
    progressively unreal.

  2. it’s only since the internet you tube and like that we hear about all these
    U. F. O’s. never heard about them in the 60’s and 70’s only in startreck or
    magazines.

    commercial, Youtube is much better on playstation or else I wouldnt even
    use youtube at all

    It was a tumultuous year filled with news of Watergate, the Vietnam war and
    many other noteworthy events. During this history brimming year, UFO
    sightings were on the increase culminating in abductions and extraordinary
    sightings through the fall of 1973. From the Pascagoula Gulf Coast and all
    around the world UFOs were being reported in ever increasing numbers. In
    Ufology this is called a «flap». 1973 historically had one of the largest
    flaps the world has ever experienced. Many of the most famous and well
    documented UFO cases come from this year!

  15. This is hands down the most lagit , informative and amazing documentory ive
    seen to date A++ thank you R.E.how have i not seen this ? thought i’d
    watched them all lol, but the best ever for sure ! annimatin lil crude but
    documented cases good narration.

  18. 1973 was the year that we got involved with an orange glowing UFO hovering
    and bobbing and pendulum swinging just in front of an apple orchard on RT
    26 by the Shaker village. Things happened with us that I have never heard
    or read in most UFO stories or reports. Authorities told us not to talk to
    any body about our experience or we would have a new home.
